Be Vibrant Speech Pathology is excited to introduce Get Prep Ready, our school-readiness program for children starting Prep in 2027.
At Be Vibrant Speech Pathology, we know starting school involves more than letters and numbers. Led by an experienced speech pathologist and therapy assistant, Get Prep Ready builds the communication, social and participation skills children need to feel more confident in the classroom.

Practise group instructions and the everyday concepts used in Prep classrooms.

Build confidence participating in shared stories, games and simple learning tasks.

Communicate needs, make choices and let an adult know when something is unclear.

Take turns, share materials, notice peers and contribute ideas to the group.

Practise waiting, packing up, transitioning and moving between activities.

Build emotion language and practise ways to cope when things do not go to plan.

Children entering mainstream Prep who may benefit from extra support, particularly those with a history of speech or language delays or disorders.

No. Children with and without a diagnosed disability are welcome.
Families can enrol for the full program or book individual sessions, subject to availability. Regular attendance is recommended for the greatest continuity.
The group will remain small to support participation and interaction. It will run with a minimum of four children.
The fee is $150 per session. Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are welcome, with fees based on the supports delivered. For non-funded children, private health insurance rebates may be available, but please check with your insurer. Flexible payment plans are also available.
This program focuses on adjusting to the structure and expectations of school. Some children show their overwhelm clearly, while others become quiet and go unnoticed. We help children practise following routines, coping with change, joining in, asking for help and communicating their needs before they enter the classroom.
